AKC CGC Evaluator

Beau Danes' owner is an official AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator!

The owner of Beau Danes, Brittany Jones, is honored to have received the title of AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator!

​

Brittany readily contributes to the purpose of this American Kennel Club program, which is to promote "good dogs and great owners" by teaching "good manners to dogs and responsible dog ownership to their owners." 

​

As an Approved CGC Evaluator, Brittany is responsible for evaluating and providing AKC certification for the following:

  • The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy

  • Canine Good Citizen

  • AKC Community Canine (advanced level of CGC)

  • Urban CGC (add-on CGC for public settings) 

  • Video Home Manners (at-home training emphasis)

  • Trick Dog

​

The CGC title is a prerequisite for many therapy dog certifications, as well as a great introduction to more advanced dog sports and activities.

As a lifelong lover of sports and staying active herself, Brittany has taken her dog sporting life to the next level, too, by becoming a licensed AKC Coursing Judge!

​

Brittany loves every part of every one of her Great Danes.  From their powerful elegance, nobleness, and loyalty, to their happy-go-lucky playfulness and irresistibly lovable energy, she wants nothing but the best for her big babies.  This is exactly the reason why she decided to get herself and her Danes involved in the world of AKC coursing, including LURE COURSING, CAT, and FAST CAT.
